About the role
Breakthru Beverage Canada is seeking a Portfolio & Business Development Manager to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive market‑share growth through strategic planning, promotions, and brand initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual brand plans for each supplier.
- Collaborate with the Key Account Team to create programming and incorporate inputs from internal stakeholders.
- Design national and regional promotional and pricing plans in partnership with the pricing team.
- Manage A&P strategy and budgets, launching yearly brand plans across regional sales and trade development teams.
- Maintain a calendar of business reviews for key portfolio partners and build innovation launch plans.
- Conduct custom data analysis to uncover category insights and competitive opportunities.
- Act as the primary point for press outreach, manage marketing collateral, and coordinate trade shows and events.
- Lead Breakthru Beverage Apex Portfolio social media, e‑commerce initiatives, and segmented email campaigns.
- Own onboarding of new suppliers and serve as brand ambassador at internal and external events.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in beverage alcohol.
- Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English preferred.
