About the role
We are seeking a Plastics Machine Operator to join our Kingsey Falls facility. You will ensure smooth operation of production equipment while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Train staff and coach colleagues on new methods.
- Report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Monitor quality and production levels.
- Feed, load, unload and move products and materials using basic material‑handling equipment.
- Start up and shut down machinery and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document work completed.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
- Accurate, dependable, organized and a team player.
- Physically capable of demanding work and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Operating production machinery.
- Basic material‑handling equipment usage.
- Machine start‑up and shutdown procedures.
