Pizza Cook (Pizzaiolo)

About the role

As a Pizza Cook (Pizzaiolo) at Playground, you will craft high‑quality pizzas from dough preparation to final garnish, ensuring every slice meets the brand’s standards of taste and presentation. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen serving guests at a premier gaming and hospitality destination near Montreal.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and cooking surfaces.
• Interpret and fulfill POS‑generated pizza orders accurately.
• Monitor food inventory, ensuring required quantities and quality are always available.
• Follow health, safety, and food‑handling procedures at all times.
• Keep the pizza counter stocked, restocking toppings and supplies regularly.
• Close and clean the station according to restaurant standards.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and the chef to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• Fluent in English or French and at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Adaptable to varying work speeds and environments.
• Professional, clean‑cut appearance.
• Ability to multitask calmly in a high‑pressure setting.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Positive, collaborative team attitude.
• Capable of standing for the duration of a shift.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, overnight hours and holidays.
