Pipelayer – Civil Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Pipelayer to join our civil construction crew in the Okanagan region of British Columbia. You will work alongside a skilled team to install water, sewer and storm‑drain pipe systems on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Rig and hoist pipe sections safely, ensuring proper securing and support.
• Install pipe systems such as water mains, sanitary sewers and storm drains.
• Assist in trench preparation and grading, both manually and with equipment operators.
• Assemble and install manholes and catch basins.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, good‑working condition.
• Perform all work in accordance with company safety policies and WorkSafeBC standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly site meetings and keep the worksite clean and safe.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of civil construction experience.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Proven ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Strong time‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands.

Required skills

• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• First‑Aid training (considered an asset).
