Pipefitter – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Pipefitter to join our Calgary team. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining sprinkler and fire‑protection piping systems across commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install sprinkler heads, clamps, brackets, hangers and valves using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, weld, braze, solder and cement pipe to required sizes and shapes.
• Connect piping to water mains, tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment.
• Perform pressure testing for leaks with air or liquid equipment and flush systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to select appropriate pipe types and sizes.
• Prepare tenders, quotations and schedule materials, tools and personnel.
• Service, repair and reactivate sprinkler and fire‑protection systems.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of pipefitting experience, preferably in sprinkler or fire‑protection systems.
• Accurate, reliable and client‑focused with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work mornings, days and weekends as required.
