About the role
The Pharmacy Technical Assistant supports pharmacists in delivering safe and accurate medication services. This full‑time position involves handling prescriptions, maintaining inventories, and assisting with patient care in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure prescription information is accurate and maintain prescription records.
- Assist pharmacists with preparing medications, compounding oral solutions, ointments and creams.
- Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Bill third‑party insurers and help with scheduling and workflow.
- Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians as needed.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2–3 years of experience working in a pharmacy or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability and excellent oral communication.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks under pressure.
