Pharmacy Manager – Glendale

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a busy community pharmacy in Glendale. The role combines hands‑on dispensing responsibilities with strategic oversight of staff, inventory, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safe and accurate prescription dispensing while providing high‑level patient consultations.
• Manage controlled substances (DDs), prepare for inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Train, supervise, and schedule OTC and dispensary assistants.
• Direct business operations including stock ordering, supplier relationship management, budgeting, and minimising expired medication waste.

Required profile

• Current MCAZ licence and an Open PCZ licence.
• Proven experience in pharmacy management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy dispensing software and inventory management systems.
• Understanding of controlled substance regulations and audit preparation.
