Pharmacy Assistant (North Hill)

About the role

The Pharmacy Assistant will support the Pharmacy Manager in delivering high‑quality patient care and an exceptional shopping experience for members of Calgary Co‑op. This onsite role focuses on accurate prescription dispensing, inventory management, and friendly customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers following Calgary Co‑op service standards to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and filling prescriptions with attention to detail.
• Manage dispensary inventory, including ordering, receiving, rotating stock, and handling outdated products.
• Support merchandising activities and maintain awareness of pharmacy product trends.
• Maintain and clean pharmacy equipment according to safety and operational guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
• High level of concentration and accuracy when handling prescriptions.
• Ability to follow pharmacy policies and provincial regulations.
