Pharmacy Assistant - Continuing Care

About the Position

Join the Safeway Continuing Care Pharmacy team in Calgary! We are looking for friendly, competent, and professional individuals to provide exceptional support in a fast-paced clinical environment dedicated to patient care.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of prescriptions and accurate data entry.
• Manage customer transactions and process renewal requests in person or via telephone.
• Handle medication orders, stock replenishment, and inventory management (including narcotics counting and cycle counts).
• Prepare pill organizers and assist with clinical service planning.
• Maintain pharmacy standards through organization, filing, and cleanliness.
• Support the Pharmacist with authorized dispensing tasks and delivery coordination.
