Pet Store Sales Associate

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, animal‑loving person to join our pet store team. As a Retail Associate you’ll help customers find the right products for their pets while keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Help customers choose food, toys, treats, supplies, and other pet products.
• Answer basic questions about products and their use.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Restock shelves and keep products organized.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability.
• Care for store animals by following proper feeding, cleaning, and handling procedures.
• Receive and organize deliveries.
• Work with the team to create a positive shopping experience.

Required profile

• Friendly and comfortable talking with customers.
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable around dogs, cats, and other animals.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
