Personal Line Insurance CSR – Hybrid (Markham/GTA)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a family‑owned insurance brokerage serving the Markham and Greater Toronto Area. The role combines policy administration, client support and collaboration with producers, offering a hybrid work model after training.

Key responsibilities

• Process policy changes, endorsements and client inquiries for personal line auto and home coverage.
• Support producers with servicing tasks, without cold‑calling responsibilities.
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships through proactive service and accurate needs assessment.
• Utilise modern insurance platforms and major carrier portals to complete transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an insurance brokerage environment (excluding direct writer roles).
• RIBO‑licensed with strong knowledge of auto and home insurance products.
• Resident of Markham or the GTA able to attend the office for a hybrid schedule.
• Advisor‑mindset focused on client solutions rather than task processing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the PowerBroker insurance software (training provided for the right candidate).
