Performance Strategy Principal Director – Resources Industry

About the role

Accenture's Performance Strategy Principal Director advises clients in the resources industry (metals and mining) on data-driven strategies to achieve strategic, financial and operational goals. The role works with C-suite clients on priority issues at the intersection of business, technology and operations, and is open to multiple locations in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clients' industries and business options against global, economic, technology and social trends
• Lead teams to deliver business strategy solutions tailored to the resources industry
• Drive insights and recommendations using data models and visualization tools
• Help clients build practical roadmaps for strategy, change management and process monitoring
• Maintain long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Mentor junior team members and keep up with industry developments

Required profile

• 10 years of strategic advisory experience in natural resources, specifically metals and mining
• 3-5 years in a similar senior-level role in professional services (strategic consulting firm ideal)
• Undergraduate degree; English required for work with multinational teams
• Preferred: recent generalist consulting experience in a top-tier consulting firm, experience in metals and mining or other heavy industry with roster schedules, and strong leadership and prioritization skills
