Patient Intake Specialist – Mental Health (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Patient Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for seniors seeking mental‑health support. In this role you will guide older adults and their families through the intake journey, matching them with appropriate therapists and ensuring a smooth, compassionate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound inquiries from patients or caregivers and provide clear, empathetic information about Sailor Health services.
• Manage the end‑to‑end intake process, including eligibility checks, documentation, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with therapists and internal teams to match patients with the right provider.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic health‑record system and update CRM tools.
• Follow up with patients to confirm understanding and address any concerns.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a caring, patient‑focused attitude.
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple cases without missing details.
• Interest in mental‑health care for older adults.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using an EHR platform such as Healthie.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
