About the role
Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a part‑time Sales Associate for its Edmonton store. In this role you will act as a brand ambassador, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and helping customers find the right products.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering product questions, demonstrating merchandise and offering recommendations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the sales floor clean and safe, and restock items from the stockroom.
- Accurately process cash‑register transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges and loyalty program sign‑ups.
- Support store profitability by receiving, handling and replenishing inventory efficiently.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
- Up to two years of retail or customer‑service experience.
- Ability to lift items up to 40 lb and work in a physically active environment.
- Flexible availability to work varying retail schedules.
Required skills
- Proficiency with inventory and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems.
