About the role

Key responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and thank every customer, following the GET model of customer service.
• Actively seek customers throughout the store, escort them to appropriate merchandise, and ask open‑ended questions to determine project needs.
• Promote Home Depot services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services.
• Discuss product options (good, better, best) and suggest related items or services across departments.
• Educate customers about the whole project and recommend complementary products.
• Use the empowerment program when necessary to satisfy customers.
• Maintain daily stock presentation: sign, display, and keep products clean.
• Follow safety, loss‑prevention, and security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or trade experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving items.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort working in a dusty, noisy warehouse environment.
