About the role

Join the team at Michaels in Lachenaie, providing friendly service to shoppers and ensuring a smooth checkout experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products and answer questions.
• Provide a fast and courteous checkout experience while handling cash according to company standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate shoppers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni‑channel services such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram (POG) execution.
• Complete merchandise recovery, returns and general store recovery to keep shelves stocked.
• Perform Store In‑Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow standard operating procedures.
• Cross‑train in custom framing sales and production.

Required profile

• Retail or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Capability to lift heavy boxes, bend, reach and use ladders as needed.
• Must be at least 16 years old and meet all legal employment requirements in Canada.
