About the role

Conestoga College is seeking qualified professionals to join its Pre‑Health Sciences Pathway programs as part‑time professors. The appointment runs from September 2026 to December 2026, with teaching responsibilities on the Doon campus in Kitchener.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theory and laboratory instruction for anatomy, biology, chemistry, computer software, or mathematics courses.
• Maintain up‑to‑date curriculum aligned with best practices and program goals.
• Design and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress.
• Support students in using eConestoga and the D2L learning management system.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that respects diverse cultures and learning styles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or mathematics discipline (master’s preferred).
• Minimum three years of adult or post‑secondary teaching experience.
• Experience teaching anatomy, biology, chemistry, computer software, or mathematics is advantageous.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to academic excellence and student success.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using D2L (Desire2Learn) or similar LMS platforms.
