Part‑time Lecturer – Linear Algebra (MATH 2213)

About the role
The Faculty of Science is seeking a qualified individual to teach the linear algebra course (MATH 2213) to first‑year students. The role involves delivering lectures, leading tutorials, and assessing student performance in a university setting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures covering vector spaces, matrix algebra, linear transformations, eigenvalues, and related topics.
- Design and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Provide office hours and academic support to students.
- Coordinate with the department to ensure course objectives are met.
Required profile
- At least an M.Sc. degree in mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- Successful teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
- Ability to obtain consent from the course instructor if required.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of linear algebra concepts and applications.
