Part‑Time Income Auditor (Hotel)

About the role

Join the finance team of Four Points by Sheraton and Hampton Inn & Suites in Kelowna as a Part‑Time Income Auditor. Reporting to the Property Controller, you will ensure the accuracy of daily revenue, cash handling, and payment reconciliations for the hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post daily revenue journal entries.
• Audit revenue postings across all hotel services.
• Review and verify daily cash drops, tip contributions, and credit‑card transactions.
• Investigate and resolve cash, credit‑card, and Moneris variances.
• Reconcile gift‑card, gratuity, and operational package balances.
• Perform monthly float audits and assist with guest payment disputes.
• Support additional accounting tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Legal entitlement to work in Canada without restriction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Hotel PMS software (Lightspeed/PEP preferred).
• Experience with POS systems (Squirrel preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with GAAP and general bookkeeping principles.
