Part‑Time Customer Service Agent – Airport

About the role

As a Jazz Customer Service Agent you will represent Air Canada Express, greeting passengers, assisting with check‑in and bag tagging, and facilitating boarding and deplaning. The position may require lifting suitcases or pushing wheelchairs, and operates in a fast‑paced airport environment where safety and service are top priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Use the airline’s computerized system to make reservations, assess fares, ticket, and complete daily sales reports.
• Handle passenger check‑in, weigh baggage, calculate excess charges, process payments and make general announcements.
• Liaise with ramp agents, flight crew, dispatch and other internal/external customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist passengers with special handling, resolve complaints and manage gate boarding.
• Perform duties in line with safety policies and may include cargo processing, missing or damaged baggage claims, jet‑way operations and radio communications with aircraft.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer‑service experience.
• Ability to complete the Customer Service Agent training and obtain a Restricted Area ID.
• Strong judgment, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and English fluency.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with an airline reservation system.
• General computer navigation and web‑based system usage.
