About the role

We are looking for a motivated part-time Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at EZ Vape Nanaimo. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and personalized product recommendations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash‑handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor with well‑displayed and stocked products.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or orders.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
• Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the vape industry or sales is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally.
• Experience in cashiering and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proactive attitude towards upselling and achieving personal sales goals.
