Part-Time Retail Representative – Edmonton

About the role

The Retail Representative is responsible for selling, distributing and merchandising Mars Petcare products at retail outlets across all channels in the Edmonton territory. This part-time position works three days per week (approximately 24 hours).

Key responsibilities

• Sell and maintain distribution of assigned Mars Petcare products.
• Present display programs and order suggestions to customers.
• Ensure products are stocked, properly displayed, and price‑tagged.
• Replenish display fixtures and secure secondary space for additional displays.
• Apply POS and marketing materials, rotate stock for freshness.
• Maintain field sales data in the company’s data‑collection software.
• Plan and organize route schedule, manage territory coverage efficiently.
• Keep the Area Sales Manager updated on territory activity.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform repeated movements such as bending, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence and ability to drive approximately 100 km daily.
• Ability to secure vehicle insurance coverage as required by Mars Canada.
• Sales experience is an asset.
