Part-Time Pharmacist

About the role

The part‑time Pharmacist will join Brant Community Healthcare System to provide clinical pharmacy coverage across a variety of inpatient and outpatient areas. The position is scheduled within a standard work week and does not require overnight or on‑call shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe medication use for patients.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain pharmacy records, inventory, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in medication reconciliation, clinical rounds, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise therapeutic outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a current Ontario licence.
• Availability to work part‑time within a standard work week.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
