Part-Time Pharmacist (Clinical Coverage)

About the role

The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a part‑time pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy coverage across its acute‑care and urgent‑care sites in Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high‑quality medication management for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services in inpatient, outpatient and urgent‑care settings.
• Review medication orders, ensure appropriateness, and intervene when necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate medication records and support safe dispensing practices.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with physicians, nurses and patients.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Medication review and therapeutic decision‑making.
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy software and electronic health records.
• Understanding of drug safety, dosing calculations and compounding.
