Part-Time Instructor (Job Share) – Continuing Care Assistant Program

About the role

The Gabriel Dumont Institute is seeking a part‑time, job‑share instructor to deliver both theoretical and practical instruction for the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program. This role supports student success throughout the 2026‑2027 academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.
• Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance.
• Collaborate with a job‑share partner to ensure seamless course delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date instructional materials and assessment tools.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a degree in Nursing Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience approved by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses’ Association of Saskatchewan.
• At least two years of recent experience in gerontology, home care, or special care.
• Current certifications: TLR, CPR Level C with AED, PART, and WHMIS.
• Experience in adult education and ability to work with diverse equity groups.
