About the role
The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is seeking a courteous and professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at Marcus Restaurant & Lounge. This part‑time position plays a key role in creating a memorable dining experience by delivering the brand’s high standards of hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm smile, manage the host stand and escort guests to their tables.
- Handle reservations, phone inquiries and walk‑ins in accordance with Four Seasons procedures.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of menus, specials and seating arrangements.
- Recognize regular guests and personalize service where appropriate.
- Organise floor plans, balance service stations and ensure smooth flow of the dining room.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to special requests.
Required profile
- Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Cultural sensitivity and excellent customer‑service orientation.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
