Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

About the role

We are looking for a Part‑Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to support the Store Manager of our Hot Topic location in Vaughan Mills. In this role you will help drive sales, recruit and develop a passionate team, and ensure an exceptional in‑store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and achieving comp sales goals.
• Recruit, train, and retain a collaborative team of associates.
• Promote new products and engage customers through social media, BOPIS, and curbside pickup.
• Oversee operational tasks such as shrink control, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to adjust strategies.
• Merchandise the store according to planograms and launch promotions on schedule.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Strong communication, recruiting, and operational skills (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑changing retail environment.
• Willingness to lift merchandise up to 50 lb and handle store equipment.
