About the role
The City of Woodstock is seeking two enthusiastic part‑time Arena Attendants to support the operation of its recreation arenas. This entry‑level position is ideal for high‑school students or anyone looking for flexible, on‑site work in a community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and take down hockey nets for rentals and events.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of the arena floor.
- Clean dressing rooms, offices, washrooms, and public areas.
- Empty and collect garbage and recyclable containers.
- Enforce dressing‑room policies and report any infractions.
- Report accidents, by‑law violations, and unsafe conditions to full‑time staff.
- Assist with set‑up and tear‑down of functions and special events.
Required profile
- High school student or equivalent, able to work evenings and weekends.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
