Packer – Production Department

About the role

Winpak Portion Packaging Ltd. is seeking a Packer to join its Production Department in Rexdale, Ontario. The role involves visually inspecting, selecting and packing quality products while ensuring traceability and packaging accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, select and pack products according to company and customer specifications.
• Verify product markings, quantities, labeling, coding and traceability.
• Assemble, seal and prepare boxes and skids for shipment, including loading and unloading as required.
• Remove defective items and perform re‑select or repack duties.
• Maintain accurate identification on all packed boxes and refill packing supplies.
• Keep the packing area clean, organized and free from obstructions.
• Report equipment issues, unsafe conditions or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work 8‑hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) Monday‑Friday.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Capability to lift or carry up to 35 lb (15.8 kg).
• Visual acuity of 20/20 (corrected or uncorrected).
• Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
