Package Delivery Driver – Canada

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to provide courteous and efficient pick‑up and delivery of packages on an assigned route across Canada. The role involves ensuring shipments meet FedEx service standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages on a designated route while adhering to schedules.
• Verify shipments for compliance with FedEx Canada service features.
• Provide on‑site customer service, answering queries and handling issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork.
• Follow safety protocols and operate vehicle in accordance with company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 (or G/1[AZ]) driver’s licence with a clean record (no more than two infractions or accidents in the past 24 months).
• Ability to lift 70 lb and maneuver packages up to 150 lb using appropriate equipment.
• At least one year of customer‑oriented business experience (preferred).
• Successful completion of mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training.
• Good interpersonal, communication, time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a high‑pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and holidays as needed.
• Bilingual (French and English) for positions in Québec.

Required skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based computer systems for route planning and reporting.
