Night Shift Production Worker – Galvanizing Plant

About the role

Join Corbec Inc., a leading hot‑dip galvanizing company in Canada, as a Night Shift Production Worker. You will handle customer steel parts before and after galvanizing, ensuring they are properly hung, processed, and prepared for shipment during the overnight shift.

Key responsibilities

• Organize the workspace for incoming steel parts weighing 5‑50 lb.
• Unpack, visualize, and select the optimal hanging method using clamps, chains, combs, etc.
• Unhook parts by removing chains or cutting pins, then apply finishing equipment such as grinders, files, and zinc paints.
• Touch up any quality defects and stack galvanized parts on pallets, barrels, or trailers.
• Package finished parts for customer shipment.

Required profile

• Ability to stand for 8 hours and work as part of a team.
• Comfort handling and manipulating parts between 5 lb and 50 lb.
• Willingness to work the night shift (10:45 PM – 6:45 AM) on a full‑time schedule.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic hand tools such as grinders, pliers, and files.
