Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor will work diligently to ensure the quality, cleanliness and service of the property are consistently maintained. The role requires a commitment to professional work standards and a proactive approach to guest care and room‑revenue contribution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform check‑ins and check‑outs with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Provide exceptional service and handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Respond to guest queries, complaints and special requests with positive solutions and follow‑up.
• Offer local information such as restaurant recommendations, directions and transportation options.
• Operate front‑desk equipment including the reservation system, switchboard, calculator, copier and key‑card machines.
• Complete assigned paperwork, basic accounting tasks and data analysis as directed by management.
• Balance end‑of‑day transactions in the PMS with POS and prepare daily reports for managers.
• Maintain a clean workspace and ensure smooth shift transitions through teamwork.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑service oriented role.
• Previous hospitality experience is an asset.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Strong team‑player attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a sense of humour.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with general office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
