About the role
Magical is seeking up to five new graduate software engineers to join its Toronto engineering team. You will work on real AI‑driven healthcare automation systems from day one, gaining ownership of production‑grade workflows that directly impact patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build backend and full‑stack components that power AI agents and healthcare automations.
- Develop product and platform features for creating, testing, editing, monitoring, and deploying automation workflows.
- Transform messy customer inputs—such as SOPs, decision trees, and portal behaviors—into reliable, debuggable automations.
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and resilience in complex, real‑world environments.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leadership to solve ambiguous, high‑stakes problems.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a strong interest in software engineering and AI.
- Willingness to learn quickly, ask sharp questions, and take ownership of ambiguous tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, based in Toronto.
- Motivation to contribute to healthcare‑focused technology that has real impact.
