New Grad Engineer-in-Training – June 2027 (Lloydminster)

About the role

Join Cenovus’s New Grad Program to launch your engineering career in the energy sector. Over three consecutive 12‑month rotations you will gain hands‑on experience across core business areas, receive formal training, mentorship, and build a professional network. Upon successful completion you will be placed in a permanent role aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Support operations and process/unit contact engineering activities.
• Contribute to process, facilities, and project engineering projects.
• Assist with maintenance, reliability, and integrity engineering tasks.
• Participate in drilling, completions, and well‑servicing operations.
• Engage in process and technical safety initiatives.
• Help with design documentation and control processes.

Required profile

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Available to start in June 2027.
• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical/Process, or Petroleum Engineering obtained by May 31 2027 (completed within the last 2 years).
• Eligible to register for Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) designation.
• Less than two years of professional experience in the relevant discipline (excluding student experience).
