Neuroscience Expert (Contract, Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Neuroscience Expert to support AI training initiatives by reviewing and enriching neuroscience content. This contract position is fully remote and offers flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and verify neuroscience data, research papers, and case studies for accuracy and relevance.
• Write clear explanations, annotations, and commentary to simplify complex concepts for AI models.
• Design or assess scenario‑based questions and exercises grounded in current neuroscience knowledge.
• Identify emerging trends, theories, and methodologies that can enhance AI reasoning.
• Ensure scientific integrity and consistency of all project materials.
• Collaborate with project facilitators to refine deliverables and maintain high quality.
• Provide insights on real‑world applications of neuroscience to improve data realism.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in neuroscience or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in research, teaching, or consulting within neuroscience.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize and communicate complex scientific information.
• Track record of authoring or reviewing scientific publications, datasets, or educational resources.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of recent advancements, trends, and challenges in neuroscience.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to scientific rigor and accuracy.
