Network Specialist – 11‑month Contract

About the role

HEABC is seeking a Network Specialist on an 11‑month contract to support, maintain and improve its on‑premises and hybrid technology infrastructure. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology & Support, the role spans server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backups, disaster recovery, identity and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, backup platforms and identity services.
• Maintain VMware environment including hosts, clusters, resource allocation and lifecycle planning.
• Support Microsoft services such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and certificate services.
• Monitor health, availability, capacity and performance of infrastructure systems and take corrective actions.
• Plan and execute routine maintenance, patching, vulnerability remediation and hardware replacements.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent) with at least five years of enterprise infrastructure support experience.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments and related services.
• Proven expertise with VMware virtualization environments.
• Experience with enterprise backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery technologies.
