Mobile QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality of native and hybrid mobile applications. The role combines hands‑on manual testing with the design and maintenance of automated test suites for Android and iOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS using Appium, Selenium, Espresso or XCUITest.
• Execute manual test cases to validate new features, enhancements and bug fixes.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, localization and performance testing.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Use test and defect management tools like JIRA, Xray, Zephyr or qTest to track testing activities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar tools and provide detailed test reports and metrics.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications.
• Proven ability to read, write, execute and automate test cases with strong attention to detail.
• Self‑driven attitude and excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Focus on linguistic accuracy and delivering a high‑quality customer experience.
