Middleware Administrator

About the role

Wepoint is seeking a Middleware Administrator to join its Middleware (MDW) group. You will be responsible for administering the Docker GTS platform across Paris and America, providing 24/7 production support, and contributing to automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Docker GTS platform (UCP and Kubernetes) for Paris and American sites.
• Provide production support outside regular hours, including weekend and on‑call duties.
• Participate in follow‑the‑sun support for Paris and Asia systems.
• Advise customers on best practices and help implement team standards.
• Contribute to the API factory for container lifecycle provisioning and automation.
• Define and apply common standards, methods, and procedures for container work and recommend upgrade paths.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting abilities (shell, Python, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Unix environments.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Customer‑oriented, detail‑focused and able to work independently and within distributed teams.
• Experience in a 24/7 operational environment and familiarity with ITIL processes.
