MERN Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MERN Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. The role is based in Toronto with a hybrid work model, offering the chance to work on modern cloud‑based solutions in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Create responsive, user‑friendly front‑end interfaces with React.js.
• Build secure, scalable back‑end services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, optimize, and manage MongoDB databases.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code; perform code reviews and unit testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of professional experience in full‑stack web development.
• Proven experience with the MERN technology stack.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule (Tuesday–Thursday onsite).
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile team.
