MERN Stack Developer – Contract (Toronto)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our team on a 12‑month contract, working three days per week on‑site in Toronto. The role focuses on building and enhancing web applications for the BFSI sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front‑end functionality.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless data interaction with Microsoft SQL Server 2019.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for performance and security.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience working within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.
• Ability to work three days on‑site per week in Toronto.
• Contract duration of 12+ months with an hourly rate of CAD $50‑53.
