Merchandiser (Retail)

About the role

Join a locally owned store to deliver health, beauty and convenience services to the community. As a Merchandiser you will keep the customer at the centre of every activity while maintaining an attractive and well‑organized retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise back‑room product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
• Use PDT and MMS systems to perform daily merchandising tasks.
• Manage product placement, expiry dates and consumer‑focused displays.
• Receive merchandise, complete documentation and keep the back‑room tidy.
• Support the Front Store Manager in up‑holding store standards and loss‑prevention policies.
• Provide friendly customer service and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Comply with health, safety and store regulations and perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making abilities.
• Efficient, organised and detail‑oriented with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Accurate cash handling and ability to work independently.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
