MEP Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Coordinator (MEP) is responsible for overseeing quality control activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on large infrastructure projects. The role ensures that all MEP installations meet the Construction Quality Management Plan, contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site and off‑site quality inspections and witness testing to verify compliance with project specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Prepare, submit, and implement MEP quality documents such as ITPs, method statements, and checklists.
• Coordinate and monitor MEP inspections and tests in line with approved ITPs.
• Track, follow up, and support the closure of MEP‑related Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Liaise with MEP subcontractors, construction teams, consultants, and the quality department on quality matters.
• Maintain accurate quality records and support internal and external quality audits.
• Inspect delivered materials and equipment for conformity with approved submittals.
• Document deviations, verify corrective actions, and ensure certifications and qualifications of workers and equipment meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating quality activities for MEP works on construction projects.
• Familiarity with construction quality management plans, ITPs, and NCR processes.
• Ability to work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and internal quality teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain comprehensive quality documentation.
