MEP Manager Guideway & Stations

About the role

The MEP Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression and fire alarm activities on‑site for guideway and station projects. You will coordinate closely with subcontractors, design teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems throughout construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage implementation of MEP systems during construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards and project timelines.
• Assess constructability and work with the design team to refine designs as needed.
• Oversee on‑site MEP subcontractors and provide guidance to MEP coordinators.
• Develop and standardize processes, tools, systems and templates for project execution.
• Manage Interface Control Documents (ICD) related to MEP interfaces.
• Facilitate cross‑disciplinary collaboration to integrate MEP systems with other project components.
• Provide regular site updates to internal teams and ensure smooth project handover.
• Monitor progress of MEP activities, track milestones and partner with document control to enforce document management protocols.
• Identify potential risks and proactively recommend mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the sequence of MEP and civil activities.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing on‑site MEP teams and subcontractors.
• Effective communication skills for escalating issues to senior construction management.
