Mental Health Intake Agent (Temporary, Remote)

About the role

Dialogue is seeking a temporary Mental Health Intake Agent to join its remote call centre team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for members accessing the Employee Assistance Program, providing empathetic intake and fast access to appropriate care.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from members, delivering an empathetic service experience.
• Create member accounts, conduct intake assessments and match members with suitable services.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate booking throughout the care journey.
• Handle case‑management activities via phone and chat, collaborating with EAP practitioners.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement of the phone service.
• Maintain patient safety in all member‑facing interactions.

Required profile

• Availability to work 21–32 hours per week on days, evenings and weekends (shifts from 6 AM to midnight).
• Customer or member service experience, preferably in a live phone or in‑person setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in mental health, human relations or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong empathy and ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for mental health and overall wellness.
