Medical Clinic Receptionist

About the role

The Ceremonial Medical Centre is seeking a friendly and organized receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at its Mississauga clinic. You will manage front‑desk operations, support the clinical team, and ensure smooth appointment scheduling in a fast‑paced health environment. The position offers flexible hours and free parking for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate service areas.
• Provide basic information to clients and the public, answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using the clinic’s system.
• Record and relay information, maintain work logs, and handle payments.
• Order office supplies and perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting mail, and data entry.
• Maintain patient work records and logs.
• Provide directory assistance and answer general inquiries.
• Perform repetitive tasks with high attention to detail.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and reliability.
• Organized with the capacity to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Physical capability to sit, stand, and walk as needed.

Required skills
