About the role
Join a fast‑growing R&D team dedicated to transforming cancer treatment through precise, minimally invasive ablation technologies. As a Mechatronics Developer you will design, integrate, and validate robotic and electromechanical subsystems for cutting‑edge medical devices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic mechanisms, electromechanical subsystems, and motion‑control architectures.
- Select, integrate, and test motors, sensors, encoders, and actuators.
- Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Build, assemble, and evaluate prototypes, fixtures, and production‑ready assemblies.
- Integrate mechanical hardware with electronics, embedded controllers, firmware, cabling, and software.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on field failures and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and firmware issues.
- Develop automated test equipment, hardware‑in‑the‑loop rigs, and data‑acquisition scripts.
- Collaborate with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to improve reliability, manufacturability, and testability.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing robotics, automation, or medical‑device electromechanical systems.
- Hands‑on prototyping, integration, and troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong documentation and communication abilities.
Required skills
- 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawing creation.
- Motion‑control systems, motors, sensors, encoders, actuators.
- Laboratory test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
- Firmware debugging on embedded platforms.
- Programming/scripting: Python, C, C++, C#.
- Automated testing, test fixture design, data‑acquisition systems.
