Material Supply Assistant

About the role

Finning Canada is looking for a Material Supply Assistant to join its Calgary warehouse team. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, and general warehousing duties while supporting safety‑first operations.

Key responsibilities

• Pick customer and branch parts orders accurately.
• Pack, label, and prepare parts orders for shipment.
• Sort and bin incoming stock to maintain organized inventory.
• Load and unload parts trucks safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a firm commitment to safety.
• Union membership required as per collective agreement.

Required skills

• TDG certification
• WHMIS certification
• Forklift operation training
• Computer literacy
• Experience with radio‑frequency technology
• Bar‑coding technology proficiency
