Material Logistics Agent

About the role

Bombardier is seeking a Material Logistics Agent to ensure lean, reliable material flows from the dock to the point of use. You will work closely with the Logistics‑Supply function to support production, improve inventory management and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute lean material flows from dock to workstations.
• Implement inventory management as part of a working‑capital improvement strategy.
• Build shop‑load plans for non‑cadenced production sections.
• Develop solutions to align supply and demand and achieve inventory targets.
• Document handling equipment and production kits.
• Collaborate with Logistics‑Supply, Methods, Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality teams.
• Participate in improvement projects such as Achieving Excellence System, 5S, lean manufacturing, cost‑reduction and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations & Logistics Management or equivalent college diploma.
• 2‑5 years of experience in logistics or production planning.
• Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is an asset.
• Strong interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Good written and spoken French and English is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Experience using SAP (asset).
