Material Handler

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology’s logistics team in Scarborough, supporting global manufacturing by moving and stocking hardware materials. You will work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, ensuring production lines have the parts they need to meet on‑time delivery goals.

Key responsibilities

• Move and stock hardware material to and from various production departments.
• Relay information regularly to the Materials & Logistics Manager or Team Lead.
• Receive shipments and perform order‑picking as required.
• Oversee and maintain parts, materials, and equipment throughout warehouse areas.
• Perform receiving and order‑picking data‑entry using MRP software and a hand‑scanner.
• Enter basic addition and subtraction calculations in Microsoft Excel or a similar program.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High‑school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of material handling and/or inventory control experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment (preferred).
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel formulas for addition and subtraction.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Computer‑savvy with data‑entry experience.
