Marketing Specialist – Communications & Business Development

About the role

The Marketing Specialist will lead the planning and execution of communication and marketing initiatives that support publicity, fundraising and information objectives. Working within a business environment, you will create compelling content, manage events and help drive industrial and commercial investment in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies, including event promotion, fundraising campaigns and public information programs.
• Prepare written materials such as reports, briefs, website content, speeches, press releases and newsletters.
• Coordinate special publicity events, workshops, conferences and online marketing activities.
• Conduct market research, comparative analyses and social/economic surveys to inform marketing strategies.
• Create and maintain a portfolio of marketing assets, including digital and printed collateral.
• Provide consulting services to government, businesses and other organisations on advertising, sales promotion and development opportunities.
• Manage digital databases and support e‑commerce and website promotion efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in marketing, communications, project management or related business settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
